A little bit of this....... a little bit of that......

OK..... soooooo, Halloween was a success!!! Unfortunately, my camera's batteries died. So I have to wait until my friends post the pics to get them on here......... :( booooo.... I did have a vintage long sleeve, orange polyester jumpsuit. On Friday night I went to a party in Philly, and I decided to be Foxy Brown. So, I purchased a big afro wig and rocked the outfit. It was pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. On Saturday night, we had a block party with all of the houses on our row. It was pretty sweet. I used the same jumpsuit (but with a different wig) and I was Cher! My roommate dressed up as Sonny right before he died (so she had ski poles and was dressed like she was going to ski). It was pretty hilarious. We made a pretty awesome duo!

Crocheting for...............

So, I think we've decided what we are going to sell...........

And I think we've decided what we're going to put the money towards..........


Selling: For now..... Scarves!!! And Hats!!! I can make a mean scarf.... pics to follow! I've decided to sell them for just $9. You can pick any color/mix of colors. I made one by mixing white and royal blue, and it looks pretty sweet! I'll show you that pic (hopefully tomorrow). I've also started a gray and navy one. That looks even sweeter, and *I think* can be a uni-gender scarf! It might take me a few days to finish it up though.

What It's For: I'm pretty sure we've decided to use the money to send Care Packages to troops overseas. We want to send goodies and letters to people that may otherwise never get something in the mail while they're serving our country. I know that there are many people that don't support the war.... However, it's SOOOOOOOO IMPORTANT to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!!! They're putting themselves on the line for US every day for however long that they have to be away from their friends and families.

So, we do this for them. For all of the men and women across the world that willingly put themselves in harm's way so that we can be FREE............

To those of you that are serving or have ever served or are even considering serving..... THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!

A lovely update for you!

Helloooooooooooo lovelies!

Couple things.... I will be away from now until Monday night. So I won't be able to post anything over the weekend. I'll be in Maine visiting the pictures below..... :)

Also, i'm just throwing this out there...... but me and my roomie (Char) have decided to start a little mini business. We have started to crochet like crazy... partly because we're lame old ladies and partly because we're bored. :) Sooooo... we've decided to start a little business selling our crocheted masterpieces. Anddddd..... we're going to be donating parts of each sale to a charity (which we have yet to figure out which one yet). I'm thinking, maybe we do a different charity each month, or something like that. What do ya'll think? I'll post the link once we figure out all of the details!

So last night I had the pleasure of having dinner with my awesome family and roommate (who's like family too)! I also got to Skype with my amazing family that's in Maine :) and :( at the same time!

Horray for me.......... I'm 23! :)

So lovelies, I apologize for the lack of posting this weekend! It's actually my bday today! I'm officially the pointless 23! :) So, I got the chance to hang out with some awesome friends this weekend in Philly! That was fab! Outfit pics to come....

Other than that.........
I am going to strive to make this 23rd year of my life even better than the last 22!
I will rely on God more.
I will tell people how much I love them as much as possible.
I will go after EVERYTHING that I want to achieve, no matter what may stand in my way.
I will be kinder to people.
I will try to show love in everything that I do.
I will cook more often.

Helloooooooooo Shoesssss!!

Today's post will be a lovely wishlist of...... none other than....... Shoes! I love love love love shoes!! It's a serious addiction.... and I should probably be medicated when shopping for shoes on sale! :)
